EC-Lab Technical Notes 25a: Control of the potential/current signal by an external device Part I : control by a Low Frequency Generator (LFG)

Introduction

As introduced in part I of this note, it is now possible with EC-Lab® Express to use an external device to control the signal of the potentiostat. In part I, we described how a Low-Frequency Generator (LFG) could be used as an external device. In this second part of the Technical Note, we describe how a second channel of the potentiostat can be used as an external device.

External device connection

Sometimes the electrochemical experiment is not enough to completely describe your system, and additional information is needed. In such case, a coupling with the electrochemical experiment is necessary. These few accessories will facilitate this coupling.
