Battery Capacity Determination, BCD, is a new technique incorporated into our EC-Lab® software to determine the nominal or practical battery capacity and use this value in subsequent experimental techniques. In battery research, determination of the capacity is a very common and important experiment to perform. The initial capacity of a battery, the capacity fade during utilization or the practical capacities at several charge/discharge rates are all common values to report.
