EC-Lab Technical Notes 30: Which GCPL technique is the most appropriate for my measurement?

Introduction

To meet the needs of most of battery test protocols, several GCPL (GCPL means Galvanostatic Cycling with Potential Limitation) techniques are available in EC-Lab® . Each technique was designed to perform specific measurements. The aim of this note is to help the user to define which GCPL technique is the most appropriate for each measurement. In the first part of the note, the GCPL technique is described in general terms. In the second part, specific needs are discussed. Finally, a table and diagram are given as a summary.
