100th Learning Center Published

Latest updated: August 9, 2023

The Learning Center is a scientific blog that aims to disseminate scientific information to the scientific community as well as instrument users from industry.

BioLogic created the Learning Center in January 2019 when the company’s new website was launched and the 100th article “How potentiostats work, and their use in science and industry” was published in July this year. Over 90,000 pages have been clicked since the creation of this blog and BioLogic has received positive feedback on this communication channel from customers all around the globe.

In this article, we will give you a little more information about the blog’s objectives and how you can get the best out of it.

What is the primary objective of the Learning Center?
The primary objective of the Learning Center is to give users a quick overview of sometimes complicated subjects, giving them, wherever possible, links through to more detailed content in the form of application notes, technical notes, and video tutorials.

Which scientific domains are covered by the Learning Center?
The blog is split up into four main fields of interest: Energy storage & conversion, Research Electrochemistry, Lifesciences and Materials Science.

How can I quickly find the information I need?
Each primary objective is split up into sub-categories which can be easily filtered to enable you to find the information you need quickly and easily. You can filter by application and use and just select the information you require (see schematic below).

Is there any way of ascertaining the length or complexity of an article?
Yes. Every article is graded in terms of complexity and length. We note an approximate indication of how long it will take to read the article as well as a guide to its complexity (graded on one to three BioLogic “waves” – one being easy, three being hard).

Is there any way you can find Learning Center Articles, other than using the drop-down menu and filter?

Yes. You can also look for subject material using BioLogic’s main search field at the top-right hand of the website. Add your search term, then isolate Learning Center content by using the handy filter which will appear when you click OK. If you do ever have issues finding something, let us know. We can improve the efficiency of any problematic search terms in the back end of the site (contact the marcoms team via BioLogic’s contact form).

Can I request articles?

Of course. The Learning Center has been developed to help our clients and other parties interested in Electrochemistry. If there is content missing that you would find useful, please contact us (noting the marcoms team in the subject field) and let us know what you think would help you. Our team of electrochemists will do their best to respond to your needs.

How can I find out if you have published new content?

The best way is to subscribe to our LinkedIn channel. We will inform followers of new content on this channel, as soon as they are published.
