RK-Spectro Technical Note 64: Single wavelength kinetics experiment using MOS200 in absorbance mode

Latest updated: February 17, 2021

Introduction

The objective of this application note is to learn how to perform single wavelength kinetics using MOS200, a stopped-flow module and Biokine32.
The reduction of 2,6-dichlorophenolindophenol by L ascorbic acid is presented in this application note, the kinetics is followed by absorbance at 524 nm. If the concentration of DCIP is sufficiently smaller than Ascorbic acid then the reaction could be treated as a pseudo-first-order reaction.
