RK-Spectro Technical Note 36: DNPA hydrolysis using the low temperature accessory

Latest updated: February 16, 2021

Introduction

This Technical Note describes how to perform DNPA hydrolysis using the low-temperature accessory. The alkaline hydrolysis of 2,4-dinitrophenylacetate (DNPA) with sodium methoxide in methanol was used to demonstrate the possibilities of the instrument between +20°C and -80°C. The scenario presupposes that users understand how to operate the MOS-250 correctly. Bio-Kine version 4.0 was used to control the syringes, to edit the sequences, to follow the acquisition and to analyze the results
