MT-Lab® is software dedicated to the control of BioLogic’s Impedance Analyzers for the acquisition of the impedance data and temperature control
MT-Lab®: Comprehensive Software for Impedance Analysis and Temperature Control
MT-Lab® is BioLogic’s dedicated software package for impedance analysis and temperature control, designed to provide an intuitive and comprehensive solution for researchers in materials science and related fields.
Key Features
Instrument Control: MT-Lab® functions as the central control interface for BioLogic’s impedance analyzers. It offers precise management of experimental setups, enabling accurate impedance measurements and data acquisition. The software’s integrated approach allows researchers to efficiently collect both impedance and temperature data
Temperature Management and TCU Compatibility: The software provides exceptional flexibility in temperature management, operating within a broad range of -40°C to 1100°C. Researchers can utilize five distinct temperature control modes and customize setpoint ranges and temperature ramps to suit their specific experimental needs. MT-Lab® excels in multi-point temperature monitoring, allowing simultaneous management and acquisition of up to three temperature readings (sample, holder, and control unit). MT-Lab® supports various temperature control systems including:
- High Temperature Furnace (HTF-1100)
- Intermediate Temperature System (ITS)
- Eurotherm 22xx and 35xx series controllers
Data Processing and Analysis
MT-Lab® provides powerful tools for comprehensive data processing and analysis, enhancing the interpretation of experimental results. The software automatically calculates key electrical parameters, including:
- electrical conductivity (σ)
- electrical resistivity (ρ)
- complex permittivity (ɛ*)
- dielectric loss tangent (tan δ)
Its user-friendly interface allows for easy visualization of data, with settings and graphs displayable on a single screen for efficient analysis. The integrated ZFit modeling tool offers powerful equivalent circuit modeling capabilities for in-depth EIS data analysis. This combination of automated calculations, intuitive data presentation, and advanced modeling tools enables researchers to extract meaningful insights from their experiments efficiently.
Files can easily be exported to EC-Lab® software for further data processing.
